Chinese grocer shoots men robbing store, one dead

By BBN Staff: One man is dead and another injured this morning after a robbery at Jacky’s Grocery Store and Fast Food in Western Paradise Village, located at Mile 8 on the George Price Highway.

Two men entered the store to rob it, when the owner pulled out his own firearm and shot them, killing one of the robbers on the spot.

The other robber was shot during his escape but was pursued and later apprehended by police.

He was taken from the scene via ambulance.
