Belize says #LetTaiwanHelp, calls for Taiwan’s inclusion in World Health Organization activities

Taiwan continues to provide support and assistance to Belize in its fight against COVID-19.

Today, a statement from the Ministry of Health and Wellness said that Belize supports Taiwan’s inclusion in the World Health Organization’s activities.

“The Government of Taiwan is an indispensable partner in the global fight against COVID-19 and the post-pandemic recovery. Belize supports Taiwan’s inclusion in the meetings, mechanisms, and activities in the World Health Organization and the World Health Assembly,” the Ministry said.

In addition, Senators from Belize and the Speaker of the House and Senate President have joined parliamentarians from around the world in calling for Taiwan’s inclusion in the World Health Assembly to be held in May.
