By BBN Staff: The family of a well-known self-defense instructor is seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.

Renee Wentz was last seen yesterday evening in Corozal Town.

She has not been seen or heard from since then.

Wentz was supposed to report to a class in Chetumal, Quintana Roo this morning at 10.

When Wentz didn’t show up, her friends and family became concerned since it is unlike her to not show up for any class.

Her sister that lives in the United States has been trying to contact her as well but to no avail.

Wentz sister told BBN that she has contacted the United States Embassy in Belize and reported that her sister is missing.

Family and friends are trying to contact her as well.

If anyone has seen or has any information leading to the whereabouts of Wentz, please contact the nearest police station.

6:55 p.m. Update: US Embassy confirms Wentz found safe: https://breakingbelizenews.com/2017/07/02/embassy-confirms-wentz-safe/
