Little boy run over and killed by sand truck

By BBN Staff: Reports of a tragic incident emerged from San Ignacio Town yesterday afternoon when a primary school boy, Emil August, was hit by a truck belonging to Bahadur and Sons Trucking Company.

The accident occurred in front of Trins Store shortly after mid-day and the young boy succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital. Since then, no police report of the matter has been released and San Ignacio Police remain tight lipped.

According to eyewitnesses, it was a sad scene as people were crying in grief after seeing the boy’s injuries. Details of this incident are still limited and more will be posted as the information become available.
