By Aaron Humes: Belize City (23) and Santa Elena, Toledo District (16), have combined for 39 of the sixty six new cases of COVID-19 reported on the weekend.

With the 17 new cases, Toledo has 1,033 overall cases from the start of the pandemic.

No other area reported more than five, that being San Ignacio Town, Cayo District.

Ladyville, Belize District has four new cases and San Pedro Town, three. Belmopan had two cases and the following municipalities and villages each reported at least one new case; Carmelita and Orange Walk Town, Orange Walk District; Biscayne, Caye Caulker, Hattieville and Lords Bank, Belize District; Camalote, San Antonio, Santa Elena Town, Spanish Lookout and San Jose Succotz, Cayo District; Sarawee, Stann Creek District; and Pueblo Viejo, Toledo District.
